Dental Implant Pricing, Payment Options & Easy Booking
At Pain Free Dentistry Sydney, we understand that choosing dental implants is a significant decision. That’s why we focus on making the process as clear, accessible, and stress-free as possible—from understanding costs to booking your consultation.
To improve patient experience and help more people take the next step with confidence, we are enhancing our implant pages with clearer pricing guidance, flexible payment options, and easier booking access.
Payment Methods
We welcome various payment methods for your convenience, including cash, health funds, credit/debit cards, BSB transfers, as well as Afterpay and Zip Pay. For more information, please feel free to contact us at (02) 9558 8988 or via email at info@painfreedentistsydney.com.au. We're here to help!
Upfront Payment/Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance with dental coverage, your insurer may contribute to part of your treatment costs depending on your level of cover. Before commencing treatment, we provide a detailed treatment plan with item numbers and associated fees, which you can submit to your health fund to obtain an estimate of your rebate.
The final out-of-pocket cost will depend on your individual policy and level of coverage. Our team can help you understand your treatment plan so you can make an informed decision before proceeding.
For patients without private health insurance, we are happy to discuss alternative payment arrangements to ensure treatment remains as accessible as possible.
Early Release of Superannuation
Disclaimer: Pain Free Dentistry Sydney does not provide financial advice. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed financial adviser or the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) before making any decisions regarding superannuation access.
In some cases, patients may be eligible to access their superannuation early on compassionate grounds to assist with essential medical or dental treatment costs, including for themselves or dependants. Eligibility is strictly assessed under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993.
Early release of superannuation is only considered when all ATO criteria are met.
Transparent Pricing Guidance (Indicative Ranges)
We recognise that one of the main barriers for patients considering dental implants is uncertainty around cost. To support better decision-making, we aim to provide clear, indicative pricing ranges on our implant pages.
Typical implant treatment costs may vary depending on complexity, bone structure, and the number of implants required. However, providing a general guide helps patients:
Understand expected investment before attending a consultation
Reduce uncertainty and hesitation
Compare treatment options more easily
Feel more confident moving forward
This transparency helps patients make informed choices without pressure or confusion.
Condition 1 – Eligibility Under Medical Grounds
You must meet the criteria for the compassionate ground you’re applying for—specifically, medical treatment or medical transport.
To qualify for medical treatment, both of the following must apply:
Sub-condition 1: You or your dependent requires treatment to address a life-threatening illness or injury, to alleviate acute or chronic pain, or to manage acute or chronic mental illness.
Sub-condition 2: The required treatment is not readily available through the public health system.
Condition 2 – Expense Has Not Been Paid
The expense must be unpaid at the time of application. You will not be eligible if the cost has already been covered via loan, credit card, or other means.
Condition 3 – Financial Hardship
You must be unable to afford part or all of the cost without accessing your super. This includes being unable to obtain a loan, use savings, or sell investments/assets.
Condition 4 – Residency
You must be a current or former citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand.
Condition 5 – Required Supporting Evidence
You must provide both clinical and financial documentation to support your application. Incomplete submissions may result in delays or rejection.
Financial Evidence: Submit a detailed treatment plan, itemised quote, or unpaid invoice showing the amounts and treatment descriptions.
Clinical Evidence: Two (2) medical reports are required:
One from a registered Dental or Medical Specialist in the relevant field.
One from a Dentist or Medical Practitioner.
Both reports must be signed, dated, and completed within six months of your application.
Please be aware that serious penalties apply if you attempt to access your super unlawfully or provide misleading information. This could result in the withdrawn amount being added to your taxable income, triggering extra tax, penalties, and interest. It may also impact your Centrelink or other government benefits.
